Wearing hideous shoes

New York Fashion Week Bohemian Classic
Temperley London

It’s not enough that a designer could be in the right state of mind to create such a horrific-looking shoe. To see that people would actually wear them off the runway is even worse, and just beyond believable.

Once again, Kelis sparked up a huge topic of discussion throughout the blogosphere when she showed up to the Data Awards in L.A. on Thursday, January 28, 2010 wearing a pair of Alexander McQueen platforms paired with cat woman clothing and accessories.

To be honest, when comparing Kelis’ look to others who have tried to pull off wearing high-heeled and hideous-looking shoes, she didn’t do too bad at all at making everything blend well.

What are your thoughts?
